ABOUT THE PROGRAMThe aim of the Public Relations and Promotion Program is to attract the attention of consumers in an environment where competition, customer needs, and expectations are increasing, and to ensure that the institution correctly explains and promotes itself to the target audience it is trying to reach. In this context, the program aims to train qualified human resources who can conduct research and planning in their field, have knowledge and skills in mass communication tools, and can use public relations strategies correctly in the national and international market.
INTERNSHIP AND EDUCATION-TRAINING MODELEach academic year consists of two semesters, fall and spring. The program education includes face-to-face formal education lasting four semesters and a compulsory internship. The language of instruction is Turkish. Some courses are offered through distance education. While theoretical education is provided in our program, some courses have practical content.
There is a compulsory internship application in the program. Students are required to complete an internship covering 30 working days within the internship schedule determined by our vocational school. The internship can be conducted in businesses or institutions related to the program field, outside the province where the higher education institution is located.

TUITION FEE

First Education students who will newly enroll in our school and those who will renew their registration within the normal duration of the program they are studying do not pay a contribution fee/tuition fee.
However, a contribution fee is charged from students who cannot graduate at the end of the normal program duration (4 semesters). If an optional preparatory class is attended, this period is also considered within the normal program duration.
No contribution fee/tuition fee is charged from students who are at the graduation stage and only have an internship left.

Second Education students pay the tuition fee determined by YÖK at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters each year.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIESPrivate organizations are established for profit and must work efficiently to increase their profits. This necessity forces them to work in the field of human relations both within and outside the organization and to maintain good relations with individuals and institutions outside the organization.
Therefore, the importance given to public relations in both private and public organizations is increasing day by day.
Graduates of this two-year program:
• Can work as mid-level professional staff in public and private sector organizations' public relations and promotion units,
• As customer relations specialists, product or service managers.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Accounting and Tax Applications Program provides students with the knowledge to adapt quickly to roles they can undertake in departments such as general accounting, cost accounting, company accounting, and specialized accounting of any business, alongside all commercial, economic, and cultural knowledge and skills when they graduate.

The purpose of the Accounting and Tax Applications program is to ensure the execution of recording transactions that occur in businesses and can be expressed in monetary terms, determining and interpreting the results arising from them. For this purpose, they take courses such as Accounting, Business Correspondence, Human Resources Management, Financial Economic Planning and Control, Accounting Techniques and Rules. Our students gain professional competence in accounting by acquiring the ability to apply the accounting they learned classically on the computer with the use of ready-made accounting package programs, considering the importance of computer use in accounting with the transition to uniform accounting. Our vocational school students do their mandatory internships covering 30 working days in the sector at the end of the IV. semester.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIESGraduates are entitled to receive an associate degree diploma as a Professional Staff. Our students can find job opportunities in the accounting departments of businesses and in the accounting services of public institutions and organizations. Additionally, after completing their undergraduate education, they can open accounting offices in their names as a result of the proficiency exam to be held after completing their three-year internship in accordance with the Law No. 3568 on Certified Public Accountants, Public Accountants, and Sworn-in Certified Public Accountants.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Bucak Hikmet Tolunay Vocational School started education and training in 1995 affiliated with Süleyman Demirel University. The program was opened as the Business Program in 1996 and received its first student in 1997. In 2003, the name of the program was changed to “Business”. With the establishment of Mehmet Akif Ersoy University in our province in 2006, our school was affiliated with Mehmet Akif Ersoy University and the name of the program was changed to Business Management.
 

The Business Management Program has been continuing education since 1995.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMIn our vocational school, the Logistics Program started admitting students since 2011. The purpose of opening the program:
All processes from raw material to final product, from scrap to recycling are managed within the "Supply Chain". Many operations are applied to commercial goods in motion in basic transportation channels such as sea, rail, road, and air, including storage, port services, warehousing, customs clearance, handling, domestic transport, main transport, import/export formalities, container laying, securing goods to the transport vehicle, insuring, etc. Logistics operations play a role in all processes from the first link to the last link of the supply chain. Our program provides education on operations from the procurement of raw material sources to the distribution of finished products to final sellers, from main lines to sub-lines, and our graduates are trained to start work in these areas. ABOUT THE PROGRAMBucak Hikmet Tolunay Vocational School started education and training in 1995 affiliated with Süleyman Demirel University. Our school was affiliated with Mehmet Akif Ersoy University with the establishment of Mehmet Akif Ersoy University in our province in 2006. The Foreign Trade Program has been continuing education since 2005. After successfully completing all the conditions in the curriculum and graduation requirements, students graduate with an associate degree as "Foreign Trade Vocational Staff".

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Bucak Hikmet Tolunay Vocational School Child Development Program is a 2-year associate degree program that high school graduate students can enter based on the results of the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS). Students are also accepted into the program through lateral transfer. Lateral transfer conditions are regulated by the university administration each year through regulations/directives. Graduates of the Child Development Program are awarded the "Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Bucak Hikmet Tolunay Vocational School Associate Degree Diploma".
Students who graduate from this program with sufficient knowledge and skills meet the intermediate staff needs of public and private sectors in preschool education institutions, integration schools, and special education institutions.

The main aim of the Child Development Program is to train personnel who adopt the importance of child development and education, recognize the developmental characteristics of children, are knowledgeable about their habits and needs, and can take precautions against problems children may encounter.
Additionally, the program aims to train technical personnel who can recognize children in need of special education, organize appropriate educational environments for these children, are conscious about maternal health, can prepare educational toys suitable for children's developmental levels and evolving technology, and can prepare daily menus and foods in accordance with principles in the institution they work.

WHERE THE EDUCATION WILL BE CONDUCTEDEducation is conducted in the school building within the area belonging to our vocational school in the Bucak district of Burdur.
ABOUT THE PROGRAMThe purpose of the Civil Air Transport Management Program is to prepare plans that ensure the coordination for the most efficient use of companies' money, materials, and manpower in line with the needs in the aviation sector. It takes measures to operate aircraft more profitably and to operate at full capacity in terms of cargo and passenger quantities. New regulations and investments aimed at the civil aviation sector are developing and expanding in the cargo transportation sector alongside passenger transportation. Especially the shift of passenger and cargo transportation to the aviation field due to the time factor, the cost effect of time, and integrated planning highlight the importance of civil air management. It is a field that can be preferred by those who want to actively participate in the developing and growing aviation sector and contribute to this growth in the future.
INTERNSHIP AND EDUCATION-TRAINING MODELEach academic year consists of two semesters, fall and spring. The program education includes face-to-face formal education lasting four semesters and a compulsory internship. The language of instruction is Turkish. Some courses are offered through distance education. While theoretical education is provided in our program, some courses have practical content.
There is a compulsory internship application in the program. Students are required to complete an internship covering 30 working days within the internship schedule determined by our vocational school. The internship can be done in businesses or institutions related to the program area, outside the province where the higher education institution is located.
CONDITIONS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR PROGRAM APPLICATIONBeing a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, not having any Criminal Record or Criminal Record Archive that would prevent obtaining an airport entry card, obtaining a health report from a fully equipped hospital stating that there is no health problem that would prevent performing the profession and/or the duty given in the profession (hearing loss/deficiency, vision loss/deficiency, etc.).

TUITION FEE

Newly enrolled First Education students at our school and First Education students who renew their registration within the normal duration of their program do not pay a contribution fee/tuition fee.
However, a contribution fee is charged to students who cannot graduate at the end of the normal program duration (4 semesters). If an optional preparatory class is attended, this period is also considered within the normal program duration.
No contribution fee/tuition fee is charged for the internship from students who are at the graduation stage and only have the internship left.

Second education students pay the tuition fees determined by YÖK at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters each year.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMThe program aims to train qualified 'Cabin Crew' needed by the continuously developing aviation sector. Personnel responsible for implementing necessary safety and security measures and passenger comfort on passenger-carrying aircraft are defined as "cabin crew" or "cabin attendants" (shgm, 2021). In this direction, the content of the program is designed to train individuals who can fulfill the responsibilities of cabin crew, are competent and effective, have high communication skills, can think analytically, are problem-solving oriented, and have leadership abilities.
